Foundation HealthCare is an organization that owns and operates surgically focused hospitals that facilitate and enhance the surgical experience and outcomes for Surgeons and their patients.

Founded in 1996 by its current Chairman, Tom Michaud, Foundation HealthCare has grown to a portfolio of three surgical hospitals, 10 surgery centers and 57 sleep centers.

Since its inception Foundation HealthCare has partnered with some of the nation’s best surgeons and physicians to develop strong market presence.

Becoming a public company in 2013 strengthened Foundation HealthCare’s ability to continue its growth strategy. This strategy includes acquiring surgical hospitals while developing ambulatory surgical centers and other ancillary service lines under them. Foundation HealthCare also focuses on growth opportunities within its existing facilities.
